@Krissy that will go into your template CSS file. Look for the navbar in the CSS and add the image location to the navigation text.

I have made small images which I would like to keep for the buttons on my nav bar. How do I do this and where do I place the full coding on my html template for blogger? How would i centre all the text ie. # nav li a to sit in the middle of the nav bar? So far i have found this tutorial EXTREMELY helpful and SUPER easy to follow – Thank you!

@Katie the space you are seeing is probably a padding issue. Make sure it is set to 0.
